A supposedly exciting ride suddenly turns into a hilariously embarrassing moment after a hapless woman loses her bikini while trying a surfing simulator.
The MS Quantum of the Sea, one of the ships of The Royal Carribean International cruise line has a lot of activities for their customer aboard and one of them is the Flowrider.
The Flowrider is a 40-foot-long surfing simulator where artificial waves can go as fast as 35 to 40 miles per hour.
Given that strong current, it commonly causes wardrobe malfunction, mostly on women. That’s why proper attire is a must for this activity.
And this woman learned it the embarrassing way after trying to surf with only her two piece on.
At first, it was fun…
But the current is too strong for her bikini to handle.
And she loses her button with the crowd watching.
Surfing simulator fail!
According to Royal Carribean Blog, you need to consider these important tips before riding the Flowrider.
- Since the Flowrider is free of charge, the queue can get really long. Try riding it on port days or in the morning. However, surfing lessons have a fee of about $60 per person for one hour.
- Be sure to wear clothing that won’t easily come off. Women, specifically, are advised to wear one-piece bikinis, rashguards, shirts or shorts.
- Always listen to the staff assisting you and ask them questions in case you’re not sure about the ride.
Lesson: It pays to wear the proper suit when surfing.
