Snap is selling a dancing hotdog costume just in time for Halloween

Snap, the maker of Snapchat and Spectacles, is selling the dancing hot dog costume on Amazon for $79.99. If you are an avid user of the social media app then you will know exactly what I’m talking about.

The dancing hot dog first emerged earlier this year when Snapchat rolled out an augmented reality dancing hot dog filter. The birth of the hot dog meme traces back to a tweet from July 4th. The viral video showed the dancing hot dog being “taken away” by a child riding in a shopping cart. That tweet has more than 122,000 likes.

The costume is “made of 100% beef, but never starts it!,” according to the Amazon product description. Sure you could make your own costume, but it isn’t “Snapchat Official”.

This isn’t the first time that Snap has sold items on Amazon. In the past, Snap has sold a ghost stuffed animal, playing cards and even a ghost backpack based on their iconic logo.
